Shoes, well done

If you're in Chattanooga, TN and want Simple Shoes check out n2shoes. They've built an impressive display in their front window using our new less>more POP.

Below is the spice rack with some of the ingredients for making our shoes. Many creations start with a base of recycled car tires covered with a layer of carpet padding topped off with bamboo, cotton, hemp or silk.
 

n2 will have their grand opening and a Simple Shoe show April 25.

Spring is in the air... maybe.

Had a chance to poke around the site recently?  Spring starts on Friday (that's the 20th) and our deliveries are showing it... a lot of our Spring product is hitting... check it out:

These are the new ecoS in unbleached hemp.  We're really into these, as seemingly plain as they might be.  The hemp on these shoes has undergone minimal processing-- meaning the hemp stalk was stripped and woven and turned into a pair of shoes.  What's this mean? No bleach and no dyes.  And yes, those are old bike tires on the sides of these...

We've also got a load of new Satires in our gingham silk print (and if you're not into that sort of thing, we've got plain versions with PET ribbon laces too... and just as ooh-la-la-worthy). 

 
And last, but not least, we have our all new glue free assembly collection...The gumBO, and gumSHOE. So instead of using the typical amount of glue, (about two shot glasses full)  these babies only use a thimble's worth.  The cushioning on the inside is made from carpet padding (which is made of pre and post industrial waste with some jute thrown in for good measure).  These are lined in bamboo and are made with hemp... Check out the ladies versions here and the men's here (hemp ones) and here (organic cotton versions).  We also make flip flops using the same glue free assembly: the gumBO.
