POCKET CHRONICLES
Well, the survey results are coming in and not surprisingly the concensus seems to be universal. "Hell no don't shrink the Moonlight Chronicles to 1/4th the current size dummy". Okay, okay. I just sort of got on a minimalist tear one night and printed up about 10 mini volumes. ( see photo on flickr site above) The whole idea of course was to see just how little paper i could use up in a hundred page issue of the zine. It currently uses 13 sheets of 8 1?2 X 11. The new design uses only 3 sheets! But alas, the pages are just too small to even read. Oh well. Maybe some day it will have to be that size cause there won't be very much paper around. So stay tuned, with yer magnifying glasses handy! In other news from the hobbit hole. The chainsaw cleanup is being put on hold until the spring. We only cleared the running trails, using the saw for about 2 hrs. Now we are fully engaged in the Xmas rush, getting gifts and cards out to the postal workers. (Pretty good jioke i just overheard: GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE; POSTAL WORKERS DO!) Sorry. After the New Year we promise to get our trikes down the road for further adventure. All to be fully documented in M.C. #63. The last week was spent working on the new Drawing Book that i have been contracted to write by Cider Mill Press. It goes well, with ideas flooding my mind as to how i might teach you all the greatest craft in the world. So prepare thyself with pens and paper peoples. The book should be out next fall. Hope you all have a wonderous holiday season. Keep the fire low. That's how the dude gets in. Remember?! HOBO
